Ireland's first post-bailout review due in April

Ireland is expected to have its first post-bailout review mission by the EU and International Monetary Fund at the end of April, the Irish Times reports. Over the next decades, Ireland will be subject to two review missions a year, until 75% of the bailout loans are paid back.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
