US names seven Russians in asset freeze

The US has imposed travel bans and asset freezes on seven Russians blamed for violating Ukraine's territorial integrity. Its order named and shamed four politicians: Yelena Mizulina; Leonid Slutsky; Andrei Klishas; and Valentina Matviyenko. It also named deputy PM Dmitry Rogozin and two Kremlin officials: Vladislav Surkov and Sergey Glazyev.

EU overcomes divisions on posted workers

After a 12-hour discussion, EU employment ministers struck a compromise to reform the rules on workers posted in another country. The principle of equal pay for equal work has been adopted but the transport sector will get special treatment.
