Socialists still marginally ahead of right in EU Parliament poll

Europe's socialists remain slightly ahead of the centre-right according to the latest pan-EU opinion pollsters PollWatch ahead of May's European elections. The Socialist group is expected to win 214 seats in the 751-member Parliament with the EPP on 213. The poll also gives a slight boost to Europe's Liberal parties.

'No backsliding' on Brexit promise, Irish PM warns
