Van Rompuy still willing to go to Moscow

EU council chief Herman Van Rompuy is still willing to go to Moscow "to negotiate a solution" to the Ukraine crisis with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a senior EU official said. Van Rompuy last spoke to Putin 10 days ago. Russian media ridiculed his attempts to set up a visit.
