IMF chief probed in corruption case

French prosecutors in Paris on Wednesday questioned IMF chief Christine Lagarde over her role in a €400 million state payout to French tycoon Bernard Tapie in 2008 when she was finance minister, reports Reuters. The prosecutors cite "numerous anomalies and irregularities" in the affair. Lagarde declined to comment to journalists.
