Industry wary of new EU rules on lorry design

The European Parliament has voted for lorry cabs to become safer and more aerodynamic. The nose design of future vehicles is to resemble sloping high-speed trains to reduce accident fatalities. But industry estimates say the move will boost the cost of cabs by up to €1,500, Reuters reports.
