Irish EU candidates face €150 fine for each poster put up early

Wednesday is the first day candidates and political parties are allowed to put up posters for the Irish EU elections on 23 May. But numerous candidates began postering before the permitted date and they now risk a €150 fine for each individual poster put up illegally, reports the Irish Times.
