EU police college moves to Budapest

The EU police college (Cepol), an agency promoting cross-border police cooperation and training, will be moved to Budapest from September, EU finance ministers decided Tuesday. Cepol was established in the British town of Bramshill in 2005, but the UK government in March said it could no longer host it.

EU overcomes divisions on posted workers

After a 12-hour discussion, EU employment ministers struck a compromise to reform the rules on workers posted in another country. The principle of equal pay for equal work has been adopted but the transport sector will get special treatment.
