France set to miss EU deficit target

France risks EU fines after forecasts by the European Commission suggest the country is set to miss its 2015 budget deficit reduction target, reports CNBC. France's budget deficit is expected to remain at 3.9% of GDP, then drop to 3.4% next year, above the EU's 3% target.
