ECJ says Germany can reject Romanian benefit claims

In a non-binding opinion, the European Court of Justice Tuesday said Germany can reject benefit claims submitted by EU citizens if the applicants have no links to Germany and are not actively seeking a job. The case was filed by an unemployed Romanian who was denied social benefits in Leipzig.
