France unhappy over US fine against BNP bank

France's foreign minister Laurent Fabius Tuesday described a possible €7.3 billion fine against BNP Parisbas as unreasonable, reports the BBC. The US fined the French bank for breaking trade sanctions against Sudan, Iran and Cuba. "The fine has to be proportionate and reasonable. These figures are not reasonable," said Fabius.
