Israel signs EU research partnership

Israel is set to have the same access as EU member states to grants under the EU's €80 billion Horizon 2020 research programme following a pact signed with the European Commission on Sunday, reports Haaretz. The EU says no funding will be used in territories captured by Israel in 1967.
