Calls for early election in Bulgaria

The head of Bulgaria's ruling socialist party, Sergei Stanishev, Tuesday called for early elections in July, reports Reuters. Stanishev said early elections are needed because of political instability. He described the government as being on "life support". The main opposition party GERB wants an election date in September or October.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania
