Ukraine pledges to sign EU treaty next week

Ukraine leader Poroshenko has declared he will sign an EU free trade treaty in Brussels next Thursday, while his new foreign minister, Pavlo Klimkin, will brief EU colleagues on Poroshenko's peace plan in Luxembourg Monday. The statement comes amid ongoing fighting in east Ukraine and fears of Russian invasion.
