France seeks German and British help to lower BNP fine

The FT reports, citing French officials, that president Hollande has asked Germany and the UK to lobby the US to reduce a fine for French bank BNP Paribas, due to pay up to $9bn for violating Iran and Cuba sanctions. France says German banks are equally exposed, the FT noted.
