Freed Belarusian activist in Brussels for talks

Belarusian human rights defender Ales Bialiatski, who came out of jail ten days ago, met on Tuesday in Brussels with the EU's Special Representative for Human Rights, Stavros Lambrinidis. "This could contribute to improving relations between the European Union and Belarus," an EU spokesman said after the release.
