Juncker vote in Parliament forwarded to 15 July

The European Parliament has forwarded its vote to nominate Jean-Claude Juncker as new Commission president to 15 July, one day earlier than planned. It will allow more time before EU leaders meet 16 July in Brussels to decide on a package of other top EU jobs, including the council presidency.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
