North Sea oil disputed in Scottish referendum campaign

The Scottish government is exaggerating North Sea oil reserves by up to 60%, Sir Ian Wood, founder of the oil firm Wood Group has said. Revealing himself as an opponent of Scottish independence ahead of September's referendum, the disclosure puts the government's public spending plans into question, reports The Guardian.
