French PM gets rid of austerity-critical minister

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls resigned on Monday after only five months in office but will form a new government tomorrow excluding economy minister Arnaud Montebourg, who attacked his economic policy at the weekend. The economy minister said French austerity measures are strangling the country's economic growth.
