Investors return to Greek real estate market

In the past 18 months, investors have purchased €1.2bn of Greek properties, primarily from banks and the agency charged with privatising state-owned assets, reports the Wall Street Journal. That compares with €900ml in deals from 2008 to 2012. Property values in Greece are still 30-50% lower than before the crisis.

EU Modernisation Fund: an open door for fossil gas in Romania

Among the largest sources of financing for energy transition of central and eastern European countries, the €60bn Modernisation Fund remains far from the public eye. And perhaps that's one reason it is often used for financing fossil gas projects.
