Calais mayor might close port to stop migration wave

Calais mayor Natacha Bouchart has threatened to close the French city's port if Britain doesn't make a "strong gesture" to control a growing tide of migrants trying to cross the English Channel, reports AP. The mayor estimated that at least 1,300 migrants are now waiting in Calais to cross.
