Poroshenko announces Ukraine ceasefire

Ukraine leader Poroshenko has said he agreed a ceasefire with pro-Russia rebels Friday after hearing "a powerful request for [a] peaceful ... settlement" in meetings with the EU in Brussels and Nato in Wales. The EU is likely to hold off on Russia sanctions to see if the ceasefire sticks.
