International Criminal Court to probe 2008 Georgia war

The International Criminal Court in the Hague announced Wednesday it has opened an investigation into alleged crimes during the brief 2008 war in and around South Ossetia between Georgia and Russia. According to Dutch media, it is the first time a case is opened regarding crimes not in Africa.
