Turkish court ruling frees journalists
By EUobserver
Two Turkish journalists from the Cumhuriyet daily were arrested last November for "revealing state secrets", were freed Friday, after the country's constitutional court said their arrest was a violation of freedom of the press. Cumhuriyet had published a story alleging Turkey's intelligence agency was involved in sending weapons to Syria.
