Faroe Islands delays same-sex marriage bill

A broad majority of members (26 out of 33) in the Faroe Islands parliament on Wednesday rejected a proposal to legalise same-sex marriage and sent it back to a committee for further consideration. It is the only Nordic country not to have adopted same-sex unions in any form.
