Scottish leader considers brake on EU exit

Scottish leader Nicola Sturgeon told the BBC Sunday members of the Scottish parliament might not give legislative consent to the UK leaving the EU, saying: "The option of saying that we're not going to vote for something that is against Scotland's interest, of course that's going to be on the table." Under UK law, devolved parliaments in Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales would have to ratify legal acts on Brexit.
