Austria may vote on EU within a year, says Hofer

Austria may also hold a referendum on whether to remain a member of the European Union within a year if the bloc pushes for more integration, far-right politician Norbert Hofer said in an interview Sunday. Hofer's Freedom Party has not committed formally to pushing for a referendum. The party is challenging the result of the presidential poll Hofer narrowly lost last month.
