Job adverts hit by Brexit nerves
By EUobserver
The number of jobs advertised in Britain fell by nearly 700,000 in the days following the Brexit referendum, according to figures published in the Financial Times. In the week before the referendum almost 1.5 million jobs were advertised. Meanwhile Amazon said it would create 1,000 permanent new jobs across the UK. "It's business as usual as far as we are concerned," said Doug Carr, head of Amazon UK to BBC.
