French president to tour Europe for 'new momentum'

French president Francois Hollande will visit Portugal, the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia and Ireland on 19-21 July. The goal is to "continue the ongoing work" with German chancellor Angela Merkel and Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi "to give a new momentum to Europe at 27", the French presidency said on Monday.
