IMF chief Lagarde to be judged in France

International Monetary Fund (IMF) director Christine Lagarde will be judged in France for her role in a suspicious arbitration case when she was finance minister, France's highest court said Friday. She is accused of "neglect" when she backed an arbitration procedure between businessman Bernard Tapie and the Credit Lyonnais bank in a dispute over Tapie's previous ownership of Adidas. Tapie was awarded €405 million of public money.
