Spain registers first Zika birth in Europe

A woman in Spain infected with the Zika virus has given birth to a baby with the brain disease microcephaly, in what is said by Spanish authorities to be the first such case in Europe. Doctors detected the pathology in May, but the couple decided to keep the baby. Spain has had 190 known cases of Zika so far, according to its health ministry.
