Bavaria to sue VW over share price plunge

Bavaria is planning to sue Volkswagen for damages of up to €700,000 after suffering losses from the carmaker's substantial fall in share prices that came after revelations it had cheated on emissions tests. The share price drop affected the state's pension fund, Bavarian finance minister Markus Soeder told DPA on Tuesday. Baden-Wuerttemberg state is also considering making a claim for damages.
