Bulgaria hands over alleged Gulen supporter to Turkey

A Turkish businessman, Abdullah Buyuk, has been extradited to Turkey over alleged close links with US-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, who Turkey says is the mastermind behind July's failed coup attempt, Bulgarian public TV broadcaster BNT reports. Bulgarian courts rejected a request to extradite Buyuk, in March, but the Ministry of the Interior in Sofia sent him back on Wednesday explaining his residence permit had now expired.
