Hungary plans to reinforce border fence against migrants
Hungary will build a new, “more massive” fence on its southern frontiers to defend against migrants, PM Viktor Orban told state radio Friday. The fortified barrier would be able to stop “several hundreds of thousands of people” at the same time, he added. "The security of our wives and daughters is at risk," Orban said. Hungary built razor wire fences protected along its borders with Serbia and Croatia last year.
