German police: 9,000 migrant children are missing
By EUobserver
Almost 9,000 unaccompanied migrant children are missing in Germany, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) said in a report on Monday. Authorities lost trace of 8,991 children who entered the country as unaccompanied asylum seekers. Save the Children, which recently reported that child migrants were being forced to work as prostitutes and child labourers in Italy, said it was “extremely worried” about the German revelation.
