Report: Turkey relaxes EU visa waiver demands

Turkey has eased its insistence that EU must lift visa requirements by October, German newspaper Welt am Sonntag said on Sunday. Turkey now wants waivers for its citizens by the end of the year. The EU has said the restrictions will be removed only when Turkey fulfils conditions including revamping an anti-terror law. Turkey had earlier threatened to suspend its EU migrant deal if its October deadline was missed.
