Dieselgate MEP: No problem to question MEPs from own group

The accusation that centre-left chairwoman Kathleen Van Brempt of the EU parliament's Dieselgate committee wants to prevent MEPs from her own group appearing as witnesses is "nonsense", said British centre-left MEP Seb Dance. Centre-right MEPs want two centre-left lawmakers to testify. Dance, active member of the inquiry committee, told EUobserver no decision has been taken because the chairwoman wants to first identify which additional MEPs can give valuable contributions.
