Eurogroup tells Greece to 'speed up' reforms

Eurozone finance ministers on Friday " strongly encouraged" the Greek government to speed up privatisation, energy and bank governance, among other reforms agreed in May. No decision was made to release a new tranche of financial aid. "There was a general feeling that we must not lose time," Eurogroup president Jeroes Dijsselbloem said after the meeting in Bratislava.

Article 7 not mentioned in Poland probe update

While Polish president Andrzej Duda proposes amendments to further increase political control over the judiciary, EU ministers voice support for the rule of law, but make no mention of the Article 7 sanctions.
