German government approves €20bn refugee package

The German governement on Wednesday approved a €20 billion package to help regions integrating refugees. Unde the plan, which has to be also approved by the parliament, the country's 16 regions will get €2 billion a year until 2019. Federal authorities will spend €1 billion for housing, pay expenses for all new recognised refugees and grant tax reductions to local authorities.

Denmark's flawed mission to the Gulf of Guinea

Denmark's anti-piracy mission in Gulf of Guinea was launched with such haste that no protocols were made with the Nigerian government. So no plan was in place if Denmark killed or captured pirates — likely to be Nigerian nationals.
