Franco-Belgian spat over police migrant convoy
By EUobserver
The French government summoned the Belgian ambassador after Belgian police were stopped on French territory driving a group of 13 Iraqi and Afghan migrants back from Belgium. French authorities expressed "their strongest condemnation after this initiative, which does not conform to the normal work practices agreed between France and Belgium". Belgian interior minister Jan Jambon said the policemen "entered French territory because they didn't see exactly where the border was."
