Commission backs free Interrail passes for teenagers

The European Commission "firmly backs the idea" of a free Interrail pass for every European turning 18, transport commissioner Violeta Bulc said on Tuesday. She told MEPs in Strasbourg that the commission would examine "potential cost and funding sources, as well as its administrative feasibility". The plan was proposed by a group of young people and backed by MEPs.
