VW's EU action plan is 'work in progress'

Volkswagen Group last week sent the European Commission an EU-wide action plan to repair cars equipped with cheating software, but the document cannot be published because it is “still a work in progress”, a Commission spokesman told EUobserver. Consumer affairs commissioner Vera Jourova said the plan “is a beginning, but we are not at the end of the road”. The two sides will have another meeting later this month.
