Frontex denies Malta plane crash report
By EUobserver
The EU's border agency and the EU foreign service have denied reports that some Frontex staff were killed in a plane crash earlier on Monday in Malta. Frontex tweeted that the light aircraft, which crashed shortly after take-off, "was not deployed by Frontex" and none of its workers were involved. Maltese media reported that all five people on board the jet, which was heading to Misrata in Libya, had died.
