Nordic states top gender equality table

Iceland, Finland, Norway and Sweden have taken four out of the first five places in a gender equality surveyed published by the World Economic Forum, a Swiss think-tank. Ireland and Slovenia also ranked in the top 10, while Germany was 13th. Malta was the EU's worst performer at 108, below countries including Swaziland and Tajikistan. Hungary, Slovakia, Greece, and Cyprus were not much better.
