British PM 'looks forward' to working with Trump

British prime minister Theresa May congratulated US president-elect Donald Trump in a statement Wednesday, saying the UK and the US "are, and will remain, strong and close partners on trade, security and defence". May said she looked forward "to working with president-elect Donald Trump, building on these ties to ensure the security and prosperity of our nations in the years ahead".
