EP vote on car approvals delayed until 2017
By EUobserver
The Internal Market and Consumer Protection (Imco) committee of the European Parliament will vote on a European Commission proposal about reforming the way cars are approved on 26 January 2017, almost a year after it was proposed in response to the Volkswagen scandal. MEPs are waiting for feedback from the environment and transport committees. After the vote, a plenary vote and compromise talks with national governments begin.
