Fillon and wife quizzed over 'fake job'

French prosecutors on Monday questioned presidential hopeful Francois Fillon and his wife Penelope over her employment as a parliamentary aide. Hired by her husband, she received some €500,000 for work she never did, according to the Canard Enchaine investigative newspaper. Fillon is a top contender for the French presidential election.
