Lords: UK can leave EU without costs

The UK can leave the EU without having to respect any outstanding payments or bills into the EU budget, according to a House of Lords report. The report says Britain has no legal obligation to foot a €60bn bill. Baroness Falkner of Margravine, the chair of the committee behind the report, said that "the UK will not be legally obliged to pay in to the EU budget after Brexit".
