Brexit negotiations will start after UK election
By EUobserver
"Real political negotiations" on Brexit will start after the UK election, which will be held on 8 June, the European Commission said on Wednesday. British prime minister Theresa May called for the snap vote on Tuesday. Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas said, however, that there is "no issue of timing or postponement" of the negotiations because "in any case" talks are due to start in June.
