UN: 250 refugees feared dead in Mediterranean shipwrecks

Almost 250 refugees are missing after two separate boats sank in the Mediterranean Sea over the weekend, the UN has said. Survivors have been taken to Italy. The total number of people feared dead or missing - while trying to cross from North Africa to Italy since the beginning of 2017 - has reached more than 1,300, according to the UN's refugee agency.
